1 min read

Two points. One line. Find the slope of the line through (2, 3) and (6, 11).

Rise: 11 − 3 = 8. Run: 6 − 2 = 4. Slope = 8/4 = 2. Rise over run, every time.

Your turn: what is the slope through (1, 5) and (4, 14)? (Answer: rise 9, run 3, slope 3.)
