Score gains in SAT Reading & Writing come from two things: consistent practice and a repeatable review process. Here’s a simple 4-week plan you can follow.
Week 1: Build your baseline
Take a timed section and record your accuracy by question type.
Create an error log (why you missed it + the rule/strategy).
Week 2: Grammar rules + targeted drills
Focus on punctuation, sentence boundaries, and verb tense/agreement.
Do short daily drills and review mistakes immediately.
Week 3: Reading strategy
Practice active reading: main idea, tone, and evidence questions.
Learn to eliminate wrong answers quickly.
Week 4: Full timed practice + review
Do 2 timed sections (or a full test) this week.
Redo every missed question and write the takeaway in your error log.
